Job Requirements

  • At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • experience supervising a team
  • Food Handlers certification preferred
  • ability to provide customer service in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency
  • coordinating work schedules and tasks to meet established standards
  • monitoring food preparation processes and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • addressing staff performance issues and fostering a positive work environment
