Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Ability to work full-time onsite at the Tulsa, Oklahoma correctional facility
  • Commitment to following food safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • High-level product knowledge and ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Food Handlers certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • Ensuring meal services begin on time
  • Ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • Coordinating and supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
  • Maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  • Addressing and resolving any food service or personnel issues promptly
