Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment
  • experience supervising a team
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to train and instruct employees
  • excellent multitasking and time management skills
  • strong communication skills

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising the work of kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and compliance with standards
  • monitoring inventory levels and assisting with supply orders
  • maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • supporting team members and resolving any operational issues promptly
