The Cook Supervisor position at Summit, located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is a full-time onsite role within the corrections segment, offering a competitive wage of $21.00 per hour. This role is integral to ensuring the culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently in a challenging, high-volume environment. As a cook supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the food service team, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. This position demands strong leadership, attention to detail, a deep understanding of culinary practices focused on scratch cooking, and the ability to multitask effectively.

The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of prior culinary experience in a demanding kitchen setting, demonstrating excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and standards. Supervisory experience is crucial, as you will train and guide team members, ensuring meal services start promptly and meet established quality benchmarks in appearance, portion size, and temperature.
