The role of Commissary Manager at Summit's Santa Rosa, California location is a full-time onsite position within the corrections segment, offering a competitive pay rate of $30.00 per hour. As a Commissary Manager, you will oversee the commissary management program for the assigned facility, working under the direction of the District Manager. This role involves supervising the daily sales process and managing inmate labor where applicable while ensuring strict compliance with contract specifications and company standards.
Key responsibilities include accurate financial reporting, maintaining proper inventory levels, sourcing products, and managing the product mix to reduce costs. The Commissary Manager is also tasked with developing and maintaining successful relationships with clients, commissary partners, and the facility Food Service Director to enable smooth communication and operations. Supporting and implementing company initiatives and standards, while demonstrating a strong understanding of the company’s vision, mission, and goals, is essential for success in this position.

Job Requirements

- At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Inventory management experience
- Proven track record of financial responsibility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills

- Actively supervise the sales process
