Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain
- experience cooking for large groups preferred
- experience supervising kitchen staff preferred
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- willingness to undergo on the job training if no prior experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or education or experience in food management and preparation preferred
- ServSafe Certificate or willingness to obtain certification through provided training
- experience in supervision of personnel preferred
- experience cooking a variety of food in large quantities preferred
- no prior experience may be eligible for training on the job
Job Duties
- Preparing, cooking, and garnishing all meals served during working shifts
- supervising all dietary personnel during designated shifts
- evaluating productivity and efficiency of all dietary personnel
- cleaning and sanitation of the Dietary Department during working shifts
