Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of culinary experience in a high volume or quality food service setting
- Prior experience in supervising a team
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to train and instruct employees
- Strong multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
- Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks at once
- High-level product knowledge
- Experience supervising a team
- Ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
- Food Handlers certification preferred
Job Duties
- Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
- Ensuring meal services begin on time
- Ensuring portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
- Supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
- Overseeing compliance with food safety regulations
- Managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Supporting employee development and team coordination
