Job Requirements

  • Must have cook and/ or food service experience
  • availability to work full-time or part-time schedules Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • willingness to undergo training for supervisory responsibilities
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to cooking and kitchen supervision
  • commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Cook and/or food service experience preferred
  • willingness to learn and be trained
  • leadership and supervisory skills
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to manage inventory and control waste
  • strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm

Job Duties

  • Train employees
  • plan, assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline associates
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • advise management on purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages
  • use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control
  • operate and clean equipment according to procedures
  • store, label and date food items following policy
  • follow HACCP guidelines for food safety
  • operate food-service equipment safely
  • serve meals and receive customer feedback
  • perform other duties as assigned
