Located within a beautiful state-of-the-art facility, Spring Creek offers a range of living options including assisted living, licensed boarding home care, memory care, and independent living environments. The community also provides in-home health care services tailored to meet the individual needs of its residents. Unlike nursing homes, Spring Creek by Bonaventure fosters a supportive, vibrant atmosphere focused on promoting wellness, dignity, and respect for all who call it home.
As part of the larger Bonaventure Senior Living organization, Spring Creek reflects a strong commitment to compassionate service, demonstrated by their core guiding philosophy: "you can never go wrong doing the right thing." This philosophy is fundamental in driving their continuous success, which stems from an environment where residents are engaged and happy, and team members feel empowered and valued. Bonaventure Senior Living prides itself on creating a respectful, thankful, and motivating workplace culture that supports professional growth and personal fulfillment.
The Cook position at Spring Creek by Bonaventure offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food service and making a positive impact on others. This full-time role offers a competitive starting wage ranging from $21.00 to $22.50 per hour and includes paid training, making it accessible even for candidates without prior experience in cooking. With Bonaventure’s commitment to professional development, employees receive valuable on-the-job training and education assistance which facilitate career advancement within the company.
As a Cook, you will be an essential member of the Dining Service department, responsible for preparing and cooking delicious, nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the senior residents. Your role will also include maintaining the kitchen’s cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with safe food handling and storage practices, and providing excellent customer service not only to residents but also to their families, vendors, and external service providers. By delivering high-quality meals and positive interactions every day, you will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of life of the residents.
Working at Spring Creek means being part of a team that values integrity, respect, and a passion for serving others. The organization offers numerous benefits including medical and dental coverage for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week, a flexible spending account for healthcare and day care expenses, a generous 401k matching retirement plan, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid training. This role is more than just a job; it is a calling to make a difference in people's lives through the simple but profound act of providing nourishing meals and care.
Joining Bonaventure at Spring Creek means starting a fulfilling career where you are recognized for your contributions, supported in your growth, and given the tools to succeed. Whether you have experience or are just beginning your career in food service, this position offers a meaningful pathway to develop your skills and become a valued team member in a respected senior living community.
