The role of a Cook at Aramark offers an exciting opportunity for food enthusiasts who love to cook and are passionate about food creativity. As a Cook, your responsibilities will include preparing a variety of foods according to standardized recipes and production guidelines, setting up your workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment, and preparing ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling as required. You will safely employ a range of utensils and kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers to bake, roast, broil, steam, and utilize other cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods. Portioning, garnishing, and arranging food according to established guidelines, properly storing food by adhering to food safety policies, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils are key to your duties. Additionally, maintaining excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, coworkers, and clients is essential. Adherence to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including accurate food safety and sanitation, as well as ensuring the security of company assets, are also required aspects of the role.

This job may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment may be required.
