The Cook will work closely with kitchen management to ensure proper food handling, cost control, and waste minimization through meticulous labeling, storing, and rotating of ingredients.

In this role, you will be expected to follow detailed recipes, prepare and set up food across various stations according to established par sheet specifications, and provide feedback on the effectiveness of these pars to optimize kitchen operations. You will play a key part in maintaining kitchen equipment awareness, food supply levels, and addressing any potential concerns proactively. Your role also involves fostering positive working relationships within the kitchen team and collaborating effectively with other restaurant teams to ensure smooth service.

Safety and sanitation are paramount at Samuel Adams Taproom, and you will be required to uphold all company safety and sanitation protocols, completing required checklists within designated timeframes. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand or walk for long periods on various surfaces. Moreover, proficiency in interfacing with computer systems for order management and kitchen equipment operation is necessary.

This full-time seasonal position offers a starting pay of $20.00 per hour, with placement within this range depending on your experience, skill set, and location. Working with Boston Beer Corporation means you will be joining a team that values its people as its most important ingredient, providing the best talent with rewarding, developmental, and retention opportunities. Full-time employees enjoy generous healthcare from day one, participation in a stock purchase plan, 401k, and several other benefits.
