Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of culinary/kitchen experience, preferably in a high-volume establishment
  • Working knowledge of executing recipes
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly
  • Regular walking and standing for long periods, up to 11 hours a day
  • Ability to interface with computer systems with precision
  • Ability to handle kitchen and service equipment

Job Duties

  • Follows recipes to timely fill food orders of consistent taste, quality, and presentation
  • Prepares and sets up food for all stations according to par sheet specifications
  • Provides feedback to kitchen management about the effectiveness of existing pars
  • Supports kitchen management's attempts to control food costs by proper rotating, storing, labeling, and preparing of all food
  • Maintains awareness of kitchen equipment, food levels, etc., and advises kitchen management of any potential for concern or outage
  • Fosters positive working relationships and good communication within the kitchen team and other restaurant teams
  • Enforces and adheres to all safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all checklists are completed within prescribed timeframes
