Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of culinary or kitchen experience (high-volume establishment preferred)
- working knowledge of executing recipes
- ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly
- regular walking and standing for long periods of time (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal and grated surfaces
- interface with computer systems with precision
- ability to handle kitchen and service equipment

Job Duties
- Follows recipes to timely fill food orders of consistent taste, quality, and presentation
- prepares and sets up food for all stations according to par sheet specifications
- provides feedback to kitchen management about the effectiveness of existing pars
- supports kitchen management's attempts to control food costs by proper rotating, storing, labeling, and preparing of all food
- maintains awareness of kitchen equipment, food levels, etc. and advises kitchen management of any potential for concern or outage
- fosters positive working relationships and good communication both within the kitchen team as well as amongst other restaurant teams
- enforces and adheres to all safety regulations as required by the position and the company's safety program
- enforces and adheres to all sanitation initiatives as required by the position and the company's sanitation program
- ensures that all checklists are completed within prescribed timeframes
