Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift medium to heavy loads up to 75 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to continuously stand and walk for up to eight hours
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use safety equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed cooking procedures and recipes
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stand and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
Job Duties
- Set up the batter table, collect all necessary smallwares, and prepare batter mix
- Ensure that call sheets are complete, posted and used
- Check all equipment and immediately report any malfunctions within the area to the Manager in Charge
- Color balance fryers and add sufficient shortening to maintain proper levels
- Filter and clean all fryers at designated times ensuring safety procedures are followed
- Pan sufficient chicken for operational needs
- Prepare and cook all food products according to business needs and manager's directions
