Job Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • trade school, associate or bachelor's degree in culinary preferred
  • 2 years of related culinary experience
  • self-motivation and creativity in culinary experience
  • good knife skills and familiarity with all cooking methods
  • experience with therapeutic or modified diets preferred
  • must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Prep, plan and cook meals according to established menus
  • demonstrate a commitment to excellence in food quality and service quality
  • maintain a kitchen environment that promotes teamwork, safety, proper hygiene and cleanliness
  • stock supplies as needed
  • work in a senior living environment and prepare food that meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards
