We are currently seeking a Cook to join our team at Cascade Park Vista. This role goes beyond just preparing meals; it is about bringing comfort, joy, and a sense of home to our residents through thoughtful and nutritious food. As a Cook here, you will be an essential part of our mission to enhance the quality of life of our elderly residents, many of whom have limited family support. You will be responsible for preparing meals that are not only delicious but also meet the dietary and health needs of our community members. Your work will directly impact the well-being and happiness of our residents, providing sustenance and comfort in equal measure.

In this position, you will work within a collaborative environment, assisting servers and other staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for all residents. We value teamwork and a positive attitude, so you will be expected to engage professionally and compassionately with residents, understanding their unique needs and preferences. The ability to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation is crucial, as well as a commitment to cooking meals from scratch when possible to preserve the quality and freshness our residents deserve.

Successful candidates will ideally have previous restaurant or cooking experience, with an appreciation for scratch cooking and a basic understanding of the special dietary and emotional needs of seniors and individuals with developmental or physical challenges. Supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory.
