Job Requirements
- Experience in nutrition
- Demonstrated experience in managing a busy kitchen including setting menus, ordering supplies and preparing meals
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 10 lbs
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods during the work day
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability
- Ability to meet agency requirements for criminal background check
- Must hold ServSafe Certification
Job Qualifications
- Must be enthusiastic, creative, and qualified to provide good quality meals
- Must be passionate about food, reliable, and hardworking
- Attention to detail as demonstrated experience
- Ability to read, write, and follow instruction
- Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability
- Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check
- Must hold ServSafe Certification
Job Duties
- Plan menu and prepare food
- Order and monitor supplies to ensure efficient operation
- Comply with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements
- Collaborate with other cook and program staff to serve quality nutritious meals
- Perform other duties as assigned
