Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation required
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly and previous dementia experience preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State/Local requirements
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- clearance through FL Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation
- knowledge and experience working with elderly residents preferred
- previous dementia experience preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State/Local requirements
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to communicate clearly in English
Job Duties
- Prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- assist Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable kitchen environment
- follow food safety and sanitation standards
- work with sensitivity and professionalism in service delivery
- support dietary requirements of elderly and dementia residents
- participate in employee appreciation events and team collaboration
