  • Minimum one year of food service experience or relevant culinary education
  • Food handlers and safety certification obtained within 15 days of employment start date
  • No travel required
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on hospital scheduling

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals according to established dietary and nutritional guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist in inventory management and food storage to ensure quality and freshness
  • Collaborate with the dietary team and hospital staff to meet patient meal needs and preferences
  • Monitor food preparation processes to ensure adherence to recipes and portion controls
  • Adhere to food handling and sanitation standards
  • Support the training and development of new kitchen staff
