The Cook I position at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals who are passionate about contributing to patient care through their cooking skills. This role is designated as PRN (Pro Re Nata), meaning the schedule is flexible and based on the hospital’s needs, providing an excellent fit for individuals seeking a work-life balance or supplemental employment. The Cook I role is essential in maintaining high standards for food preparation, safety, and nutrition within the hospital’s food service operations. This position requires a minimum of one year of food service experience or relevant culinary education, food handlers and safety certification, and a demonstrated dedication to supporting the wellbeing of patients, staff, and visitors through quality culinary services.
