The available Cook position at Calvary Healing Center is a PRN (as needed) role, primarily working day and afternoon shifts. This position is vital to the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that nutritious meals are prepared and served for both patients and staff. The Cook will be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals according to approved menu cycles and production sheets, contributing directly to the health and well-being of the patients undergoing treatment. This role requires hands-on involvement in the kitchen, including assisting with the salad bar, maintaining beverage supplies, and ensuring that patient meals and room supplies are delivered promptly. Further responsibilities include operating dish machines and supporting the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff as necessary.

Job Requirements
- must have at least two years experience in quantity cooking
- basic knowledge of modified diets
- training in food service sanitation and possession of food service sanitation certification as required
- experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils
- prior kitchen supervisory experience helpful
- valid fingerprint clearance card
- completion of BLS and first aid certification within 30 days of employment
- completion of Handle With Care training within 30 days of employment
