Job Qualifications

  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety standards
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions

  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare, cook and serve soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other menu items
  • Follow verbal and written instructions regarding menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
  • Set up station prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations including equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Move objects up to approximately 35 lbs. to waist height
  • Follow COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation protocols
  • Work independently and clean and sanitize the kitchen
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Stand for extended periods
