The role available is a food preparation and service position that involves daily interaction with customers and adherence to federal, state, and local food safety standards. This job requires the ability to prepare food items based on specific production schedules and recipes provided by the Chef. Accuracy in following portion sizes and presentation are critical, along with the responsibility to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and food storage areas. The position includes duties such as taking customer orders, preparing meals quickly and efficiently, and ensuring all food items meet quality standards before service.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is beneficial
  • Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets, taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
  • Store, label and date all food items according to policy, follow HACCP guidelines
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required
  • Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • Resolve customer concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned
