Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • ability to maintain hygiene and grooming standards
  • must obtain Tennessee food handler permit within 14 days of onboarding
  • ability to work in warm and cold climates
  • ability to work indoors and outdoors
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • able to read and comprehend cooking directions
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • ability to work in a standing position for long periods
  • possession of exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
  • ability to speak, read, and understand basic cooking directions
  • prior experience in food preparation or hospitality preferred
  • willingness to acquire Tennessee food handler permit within 14 days

Job Duties

  • Prepare all restaurant foods according to specifications
  • label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • maintain knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and culinary techniques
  • follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • keep workstation clean and organized
  • manage workload according to schedule
  • communicate clearly with chefs about product concerns and outages
