Job Requirements
- ability to work according to schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- food handler's certification or willingness to obtain if required
- compliance with health and safety standards
- willingness to undergo background check and drug screening as applicable
- legal authorization to work in the location

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in food preparation or customer service is beneficial
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to follow recipes and production schedules
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- team-oriented attitude
- basic math skills for inventory and portion control
Job Duties
- obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef
- prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- taste completed meals to ensure quality
- operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- store, label and date all food items according to policy
- follow HACCP guidelines
- complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required
- comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
- complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
- use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- resolve customer concerns
- perform other duties as assigned
