Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred
  • Food handler's certificate or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Available to work weekends and holidays during the summer season
  • Dependable means of transportation to work location
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds individually
  • Ability to work in a hot fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred especially in fast-casual or outdoor settings
  • Food handler's certificate or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to work in a hot fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays throughout the summer season
  • Dependable means of transportation to work location
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds individually

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order following recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist with prep work inventory management and restocking
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Ensure all food leaving the kitchen is fresh hot and well-presented
  • Operate grills fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for the kitchen daily
  • Contribute to a positive and team-focused atmosphere
