The Cook position at Banner Rehabilitation Hospital Tucson offers a per diem schedule with a competitive compensation rate of $22 per hour. Job Qualifications
- one year cooking experience
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- culinary arts degree preferred
- completion of state or local food safety training course preferred

Job Duties
- accepting and understanding both verbal and written instructions
- providing high quality food preparation and service
- cleaning and maintaining equipment to meet department standards
- maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control

- supervising dietary staff in the absence of the Manager enforcing facility and departmental policies and procedures
- ensuring proper sanitation, safety and infection control policies are followed
