- one year experience cooking food for large groups
- ability to meet attendance requirements
- ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- ability to cook, taste, and smell food
- capability to perform physical duties including walking, standing, kneeling, and squatting
- ability to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to hot stoves, ovens, and cold freezers

Job Duties
- Plan, prepare, cook, and serve nutritional meals and snacks
- ensure meals are prepared and served safely and presentably
- clean kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances
- maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and food
- store, refrigerate, and freeze foods safely
- monitor food expiration and dispose of expired items
- prepare plates for infants and those requiring assistance
