As a part-time Cook at Vivie, you will contribute directly to the well-being and satisfaction of residents by preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals. This role demands careful attention to culinary standards, food safety, and individual dietary needs while fostering a welcoming dining experience. The position schedules 35 hours per pay period, with shifts that include every other weekend and holiday requirements, as well as assigned weekend shifts in the mornings and an occasional weekday shift. With pay ranging from $19 to $24 per hour based on experience, location, and qualifications, this job offers a competitive hourly wage and non-exempt employment status. The role reports directly to the Manager of Culinary Services within the Culinary division and does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Job Requirements
- Ability to pass state mandated background check
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions

- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurants preferred
- Food safety knowledge preferred
- ServSafe certification a plus
