Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year commercial or institutional cooking experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and standardized cooking methods
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment
- Understanding and adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepares, washes, trims, and seasons food items for each meal
- Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes
- Uses kitchen utensils and equipment like blenders, mixers, grinders, slicers, and tenderizers proficiently
- Cooks a variety of foods following standardized recipes and preparation methods
- Adjusts heat controls and timers on ovens, grills, etc., to ensure proper cooking
- Coordinates distribution of food to serving units at specified times
- Maintains a sanitary and safe work area consistently
