Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English in an understandable manner

- previous experience in food preparation
- knowledge and experience working with elderly residents
- previous dementia care experience preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- assist the Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- accommodate special dietary needs of residents
- collaborate with staff to provide excellent service delivery
- participate in inventory and supply management
