Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation required
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly
- previous dementia experience preferred
- food service sanitation certificate according to State/Local requirements
- ability to stand walk bend and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- assist the Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean, safe and comfortable kitchen environment
- follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences
- ensure proper storage and handling of food
- communicate effectively with team members and residents
