Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Serv Safe Certified
- 3-5 years lead experience in institutional cooking or food preparation
- Ability to follow recipes and production sheets
- Strong customer service orientation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adhere to food handling and safety guidelines

- Capable of managing meal period and production
Job Duties
- Review menus on a daily basis
- Prepare all items on the menu in accordance with standard recipe cards and amounts listed on production sheet
- Ensure food is on serving line 15 minutes prior to serving time
- Bake all cakes, biscuits, cobblers, etc. in accordance with the production sheet
- Record amount of food prepared and amount left over on daily production sheet
- Complete all other daily production needs including waste log, in/out leftover refrigeration log, recipe audits, and taste temperature log
- Prepare food for employees' cafeteria when assigned
- Help serve food at mealtimes when necessary
- Prepare food for special functions when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
- Follow all sanitation and food handling requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
