The role of Cook I at Saint Kate is a part-time position designed for individuals who are passionate about culinary arts and eager to grow their careers in a fast-paced, creative setting. Job Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience required
  • minimum of 3 years in a similar position preferred
  • culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
  • afternoon night availability required
  • high school diploma preferred
  • sufficient manual dexterity of hand to use all kitchen equipment
  • ability to lift push or pull weights up to 100 pounds
  • ability to stand for long periods work in confined spaces with high noise and frequent interruptions
  • perform duties in extreme temperature ranges
  • ability to obtain local state or federal license or certification for sanitation liquor service or food service
  • ability to work varied schedule including days evenings weekends holidays and work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Prepare station-specific food items according to recipes ensuring consistency and quality
