This part-time position offers reliable and schedule-stabilizing hours, specifically working Fridays and Saturdays from 1 pm to 7 pm, with a competitive pay range of $17.25 to $18.50 per hour. As a Cook at Benchmark, you will play a vital role in improving residents' lives by preparing healthy, delicious meals that meet high standards of taste and nutrition. This role requires you to adhere strictly to federal, state, and local food safety regulations and Benchmark's policies to maintain outstanding food quality and safety.

The Food Services Director supervises the kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation and service meet the community’s quality expectations. The role involves operating and maintaining various kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, food processors, meat slicers, mixers, steamers, dishwashers, dumb waiters, and warmer cabinets, all of which are essential in delivering timely and efficient food service.

In this position, you will also collaborate closely with team members to organize meal production lines to guarantee meals are prepared and served promptly. The role requires both technical skills and a positive attitude, as you will also represent the community’s values when interacting with potential residents and their families. By preparing and presenting nutritious, flavorful meals with attention to detail, you will contribute significantly to the overall wellness and satisfaction of the residents at The Atrium at Veronica Drive.

Additional benefits of working with Benchmark include paid training, company-provided uniforms, and access to a wide array of wellness and retirement programs.
