We are currently seeking a dedicated Cook to join our purpose-driven and expanding team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to schedules that align with resident routines. Accuracy in fulfilling meal orders is crucial, ensuring that all dietary restrictions and preferences are respected. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, uphold food safety standards, and work collaboratively with other team members to deliver consistently excellent service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience in large food quantity preparation in a health care community
  • Knowledge of serving therapeutic diets and portion control
  • Ability to read, write, and make simple mathematical calculations
  • Ability to remain stationary 50-100%, position self to exert 10-30lbs of force or to move objects

  • Preparing and serving high-quality, nourishing and properly prepared food items
  • Ensuring resident meal choices are consistent with orders

  • Following time schedules for food production, preparation and the serving of the meals
