Job Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in the restaurant industry
  • must have an active ServSafe certification
  • ability to work a part-time schedule Monday to Thursday and Fridays as needed
  • must follow company safety policies including use of cut-resistant gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • ability to lift and handle kitchen equipment and supplies safely
  • capable of maintaining cleanliness and safe food storage practices
  • ability to perform duties in compliance with federal, state, and corporate food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in the restaurant industry
  • active ServSafe certification
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment operation
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work well within a team environment
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and temperature standards
  • tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining cleanliness standards
  • stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
