We are currently hiring for a part-time Cook position at the Doctors Behavioral Health Center located in Modesto, California. This role offers an hourly wage of $26.00 and requires open availability, including weekends, with shifts running approximately from 4:30 AM to 7:00 PM, though specific days may vary. The Cook will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure quality and safety. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards Morrison Healthcare upholds when it comes to foodservice in healthcare settings. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients and healthcare staff by supporting their nutritional well-being.

As a Cook at Morrison Healthcare, your daily responsibilities will include preparing meals using standardized recipes, ensuring that food items are portioned correctly, served at the proper temperature, and visually appealing. You will also assist in production planning, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment. Experience with food safety practices such as HACCP standards is essential to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment. Additionally, the Cook will operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
