- one year experience cooking food for large groups or equivalent combination of training and experience
- ability to obtain ServSafe Certification within 21 days of hire
- applicable state local and program contract certifications or licenses

Job Duties
- Plans prepares cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules
- cooks whole meals for breakfast lunch and dinner to accommodate 250-300 people daily
- ensures meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner
- cleans kitchen facilities equipment and appliances
- maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner
- collaborates with kitchen assistants and staff to maintain service quality
