Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior deli or food preparation experience preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and food handling protocols
  • Capable of using kitchen equipment safely
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Prior deli counter experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math skills for inventory and record keeping
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
  • Cleans kitchen areas after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and inventory management
  • Adheres to all safety protocols including proper glove usage, slip-resistant shoes, and lifting techniques
