Job Requirements
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
- Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests
- Must meet all training and applicable state and federal guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, culinary arts, or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and infection control practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to multitask effectively
Job Duties
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
- Adhere to menus and recipes, special dietary needs, correct portioning of food, food presentation, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef
- Attend to residents' individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders from residents and their guests
- Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents
- Work under the supervision of and take instruction from the executive chef and sous chef
