Job Requirements

  • Possess high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
  • Previous experience in food preparation preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to follow safety and health regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, event-driven environment
  • Possession of a valid food handling certificate if required by state or federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Responsible for cooking and packaging food product prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • Receives verbal orders from front counter staff for food product requirements for guest orders
  • Maintains quality and production standards on all menu items ensuring food is fresh and high quality
  • Controls portion sizes and serving temperatures of all concession stand products
  • Cleans, stocks, and restocks workstations and displays
  • Operates grills, deep-fat fryers, ovens and other large-volume cooking equipment
  • Ensures cleanliness of work areas, proper food storage, utensil sanitation, and floor maintenance at shift end
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas
  • Demonstrates excellent attendance and adheres to company attendance policies
