The club provides a sophisticated and dynamic working environment where culinary professionals are both challenged and valued. This establishment is not only committed to culinary excellence but also to fostering a collaborative team atmosphere where employees can grow and contribute to top-quality service standards.
The role being offered is that of a Cook, reporting directly to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef. This position is hourly paid, with a rate ranging from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, and it is tip eligible, allowing the Cook to supplement their earnings based on service quality. This is a part-time role, which comes with some benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and matching, which is a great opportunity for financial planning and retirement readiness. The position remains open until July 24, 2026, providing a long-term opportunity for job stability.
As a Cook within this club setting, the individual will be responsible for food preparation, organization, production, and sanitation across a variety of dining services including banquets, concessions, private party events, and other related areas as needed. The role demands meticulous attention to detail in food preparation and sanitation to maintain ClubCorp’s high standards. The Cook must effectively communicate and collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure that all food items meet quality and presentation standards consistently.
This role requires the Cook to not only prepare food but also organize and maintain inventory, ensure that all items such as dressings, salsas, and soups are replenished, and uphold kitchen cleanliness and hygiene. The Cook will be responsible for managing multiple food stations efficiently, maintaining portion control and abiding by specified recipes and cooking techniques. Safety and hygiene standards are paramount, including proper dress code adherence and personal hygiene. The Cook also plays an essential role in customer service, addressing member and guest requests professionally and promptly.
The job demands flexibility, as the responsibilities may expand to cover a variety of tasks depending on business needs and operational demands. Multitasking and maintaining an efficient work pace are critical to thrive in this fast-paced kitchen environment. Teamwork and cooperation are expected as the Cook may be required to assist coworkers as necessary. A professional appearance and conduct, safe working habits, and adherence to all company policies and procedures are crucial components of the role.
