As a Performance Dining Cook at Oak View Group, you play a crucial role within the culinary team contributing directly to the success of OVG’s renowned Performance Dining Program and premium game-day catering experiences. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about quality food preparation in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. The role involves preparing a variety of hot and cold menu items while adhering to strict standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. As a key member of the culinary department, you will be expected to maintain attention to detail through proper portion control, minimizing food waste, and ensuring a clean and sanitary workspace at all times. Working closely with executive and sous chefs or kitchen supervisors, you will contribute to menu planning and food consumption estimations. This position offers an hourly wage ranging between $20.00 and $24.00 and comes with part-time benefits including a 401(k) savings plan with matching, as well as paid leave accrual that rewards employees one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually. Job Requirements
- Previous cook or prep cook experience required
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment including broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven, team-oriented environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
- ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties
- Responsible for providing high-quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests
- Prepares hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements
- Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities related to preparation, excellent service, and delivery of product
- Responsible for reporting any maintenance required for kitchen equipment
- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Observing and testing foods to ensure proper cooking
- Portioning, arranging, and garnishing food plates for delivery to guests
- Consulting with Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor to plan menus and estimate expected food consumption
- Demonstrate the ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
