Job Requirements
- One year of previous cooking experience required
- Availability for on-call schedule with varying days and hours
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely
- Willingness to abide by company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to use medium weight cut gloves, oven mitts, fryer gloves, and wear slip-resistant shoes
- Must comply with food safety and cleanliness standards
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of cooking experience
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
- Knowledge of HACCP and safe food-handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and meeting outlined standards
- Tastes all prepared food items
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
