Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year cooking experience
  • Ability to work on an on-call schedule with varying days and hours
  • Ability to comply with federal, state and corporate food safety regulations
  • Ability to safely handle kitchen equipment and maintain a clean work environment
  • Ability to adhere to company policies including safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to participate in safety meetings and training
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of previous cooking experience
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety standards
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely

  • Flexible availability for on-call schedule

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Tastes all prepared food items
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Responsible for records from area worked during service periods
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
