Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferably with grill cooking
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment or supplies as needed
  • Understanding of federal, state and company food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to follow safety protocols including use of protective gear
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm on an on-call basis
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Previous grill cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Knowledge of proper food storage and sanitation practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work an on-call schedule with full-time hours

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and meeting outlined standards
  • Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
