Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or cooking
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Physical ability to perform cooking duties

Job Duties
- Prepares meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to ensure quality with minimum waste
- Reviews food menus and work orders to determine the type and quantities of food to be prepared and to identify all foods required for therapeutic diets before preparation
- Preps, measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes
- Assists driver with preparation of meals and loading and unloading of items for delivery
- Portions and arrange food and distribute to waitstaff to be served
- Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Labels and dates all food items in accordance with food storage chart
