We are currently seeking motivated and dedicated Cooks to join our newly formed 3rd shift team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital's cafeteria. This role is crucial in supporting the overnight staff and visitors by ensuring smooth and efficient cafeteria operations during the less traditional hours. As a Cook working overnight, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of food items, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and providing friendly and efficient customer service to all patrons. This position not only contributes directly to the satisfaction and nourishment of hospital staff and visitors but also plays a key part in upholding the hospital's reputation for quality food service.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food service or cooking, capable of working independently, and have strong communication skills. This shift demands reliability and the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the overnight hours. Serving breakfast, prepping the salad bar, operating the cash register, and maintaining a welcoming environment are key parts of the job.
