We are currently seeking a diligent and conscientious Cook to join our culinary team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by preparing nutritious and appetizing meals with attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and sanitation. The ideal candidate will approach meal preparation with the care and consideration reserved for cooking for a cherished family member, specifically ensuring that each dish served meets the highest standards of taste and safety. The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals and beverages utilizing established procedures designed to ensure both safety and quality. In addition, they will be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of dining areas and kitchen environments, effectively managing food storage to prevent spoilage, and accurately recording the meals served along with monitoring food temperatures. This role also includes cleaning responsibilities such as washing dishes and utensils according to rigorous standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of experience in a skilled nursing facility environment preferred
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderate weights
- Good communication skills
