Working primarily in our dementia-supportive neighborhood, Wellspring Village, the cook is responsible for using creativity and culinary skills to deliver an enhanced dining experience. This position requires utilizing healthy, high-end ingredients with a strong focus on nutrition and accommodating specific dietary requirements and special requests from residents. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in high-volume dining services, preferably in senior living, and must hold a ServSafe certification. The cook works in a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent organizational and communication skills, and must adhere strictly to food handling, storage, and safety protocols. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.25 to $22.25, reflective of experience and qualifications. Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years experience in a high-volume dining services venue
- ServSafe certification
