The Lunch & Dinner Cook position at Lure Fish House involves working with cutting-edge kitchen equipment and techniques to prepare seafood and other menu items consistently and reliably. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior cooking experience preferred
  • basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • physical ability to stand for long periods
  • must lift and carry up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Receive inventory
  • organize and clean kitchen
  • wash, prepare, and cut fresh produce
  • execute recipes using various machines and utensils from mixers to choppers and food processors to knives, spatulas and whisks
  • maintain work area in clean and safe way
  • cook food over hot flame equipment in a timely and excellent manner
  • use a deep fryer
